It's finally finished!

After many many years, seemingly hundreds of years I finally finished this awesome cartoon. I feel like I've been talking about it for an eternity so it feels pretty good to be done. Of course I need to say a big thanks to the people who helped me with it. Particularly Brad and Evan. It's not easy to find people who are willing to work on your project with you with no promise of money, and for that I'm eternally grateful.

The cartoon itself is a parody of the various space movies that have come out over the years. You know the ones, where a rag tag group of eccentric experts and savants are sent into space to save the planet from some impending doom. Except in my cartoon NASA sends up an incompetent squirrel to do the job for them. Of course from that point jokes and hilarity ensue.

I've got to say, it was a lot of work... I mean a lot, but I had some good times working on this. Going over to Evans, drawing, watching cartoons, and playing super smash. It was a great weekly tradition. I know that in the future I'll probably go about working on my own projects a completely different way. Probably more time sitting alone on the computer in a dark room. However, I am very much looking forward to being able to work on some new ideas, and knowing what I know now, I feel like I can turn something like this around way faster!

Any way, it was a lot of fun, hard work, learning, and I'm stoked to be done (unless of course I decide to go back in and add things).

Enjoy.

Montreal

A good friend of mine is moving away to Arizona. I made this T-shirt design for him, in commemoration of our trip to Montreal together. Uh... A lot of the details relate to in jokes and specific things that happened to us. Needless to say we met a guy named Doug, and he left a good impression on us.
